The Checkup

When a bass line addict meets a chords maestro, you know right from the start that something special is about to happen. Sprinkle of ass-shaking rhythms blended with authentic style grooves and you get The Checkup.

Hailing from the beautiful city of Brussels, The Checkup is a production duo comprised of two active DJs and classically trained musicians named Raphael and Alex. They met at a rooftop party in summer of 2013 and quickly discovered that their musical taste and life ambitions were aligned. One year later they are on a solid run of productions and are quickly making a name for themselves, having support from some of the best artists in the industry.

After having both djed for a decade, they decided to take things to the next level and storm the dance floors with their live performance on the keyboard and the drums.

Their first release "The Race" hit hard from the start, getting the Deep House #1 position on Traxsource, as well as being featured on compilations by Defected or Toolroom Records. A few months later, the duo is #1 again with "In Your Soul", released on Large Music.

2015 is starting off strong. The boys have accomplished the hat trick with "Move Me" released on Large Music with a #1 single on Traxsource. And their live performance is ready to hit the dancefloors wordwide with no less than 24 tracks and remixes, redubbed live club-style for your ears and booties to enjoy. Cheers !
