Bako

David Cumplido first started to be interested in electronic dancing music when he was 14 years old,
when he was just 17 he started to play vinyl and a year later he began to put his efforts into producing.
Create, not consume was the maxim of the project "MADE BY:SELF', which had a great influence on David Cumplido and gave him an important momentum for his passion with electronic music.
In 2012 he left Germany for a journey back to his roots and his fathers home Chile.
His stay in this completely different culture and environment had a strong impact on him and his music. He experienced a lot of fresh and interesting impressions in Chile. While he was there he got inspired to try some new methods and especially exercised himself in playing long sets and afterhours.
His father, who is a big componist and musician in Chile and especially his roots leaded him into the right direction. Music always was a main component of his life.
Back in Hanover Germany, Bako played his music on a lot of open air raves and from there on his booking career got started. He started to play in great locations, as there are, "Engel 07', "Chez Heinz', "Mephisto', and the "linden lounge'. His largest performance he had at appollons park festival, where he played as the youngest artist, directly after "Karotte' in the Watertower and enchanted a vibe of positive vibration in the audience.
Bako, who is just 19 years old now, is studiying audionengineering at the SAE Berlin and trys himself on drums and percussion, which he wants to incorporate into his music.
In this current days he plays as a resident DJ at the event "Zm,Bako and friends' in the "Mephisto Club' and "Tante Hanne". He always has his view on Ricardo Villalobos, Luciano and his father, his most important role models.
