Biografie
Madriko was born and raised in a small village near Ostend, Belgium. It all began at the young age of 9 when he picked up classical guitar, mostly Spanish & Southern American music. After 10 years of music school he went to the Conservatory of Music in Ghent where he further studied classical guitar and composition. In between he already started exploring other instruments and ways to express himself. A wide range of genres influenced him thoughout the years...
Since 2007 Madriko also began spinning records and took the first steps to produce his own electronic tracks.
In 2009 he had his first chance to play in club 'Decadance', a popular club in his current hometown Ghent, where he now is a regularly seen guest. Madriko played in most of the well known Belgian clubs/venues by now, to name a few: Artcube, Braempoort, Brussels Event Brewerey (BEB), Kissinger, Silo, Vooruit…
Since 2010, he's also spreading his vibe abroad: Corsica, Costa Rica, France, Germany…
In 2009 a new concept was founded named 'ROM' (Roots of Minimal), where Madriko became a resident in 2010. To sum up several editions, the first headlined with Krumelur & Kroppssprak (Minus-One/Ghent). Other editions headlined with Minilogue (Silo, Leuven) and with Boris Brejcha & Gaiser (Braempoort, Ghent) in 2010. ROM started to collaborate with 'Peer Pressure', by hosting a stage on the Peer Pressure Summer Kick-Off festival in 2011. Later on they collided with 'Hertz Events' for later editions such as Once Upon a Festival 2012.

With Moodfamily, a fresh music collective was born in the fall of 2012, headed by AMyn and Beazar who asked Madriko to join the ranks.
A collective, because they want to gather a wide variety of artists who share a common vision. A vision synonymous with emotion and depth. Stories should be told, tracks are tailored to perfection from sexy floor fillers to the darkest emotive downtempo vibes.
