Th'Acquisition

DJ and Producer th'Acquisition is something of an anomaly in music. A humbling example of what it takes to truly succeed within the framework of multiple fields. He combines a steadfast work ethic, and the willingness to pursue the full extents of his roots (Funk, Soul and Jazz), foundation (Hip-Hop, Drum n Bass) and future (Electronic/Dance music) with no restraints. From drum patterns to lush full key chords, th'Acquistition provides it all. As a DJ he brings his 'spunkyness' to the table in true Rotterdam Style, playing Soulful House to Broken Beats

The parties and venues where this Bad Boy has spun the wheels are diverse. His unique deejay skill brought him to perform at leading clubs in the Netherlands. Some examples where he has proven his merit are MaasTheater, Nighttown, Waterfront, Off Corso, Rotown, Heineken Music Hall, Paard van Troje, Melkweg, Paradiso, Sugar Factory, Tivoli, Doornroosje, P60, Sober Concept store. This is just a brief glimpse of his performances, in addition, he has often acted in a number of wellknown dutch festivals such as Festival FFWD (Rotterdam), Lowlands (Biddinghuizen), Solarweekend 2012 (Roermond) Amsterdam fashion week 2012 and his own FutureFestival.

Abroad
Alongside national appearances this artist has also proven his musical talents abroad and he has shown not to be inferior to the local talents. His talent has brought him to countries like; Turkey, Switserland, Germany, Latvia, Albania, Spain, Sweden, Surinam.

Current activities
In 2010 and 2011 Th'Acquisitions performances are mainly focused at organizing events on behalf of Spunky Fraiche, Future Festival, Future Sessions, Crispy and Boogieman Rotterdam. Blessed with more than 15 years experience as a DJ and producer it seemed a natural step to go back to organizing clubnights and events. The network of contacts which evolved over the years, has expanded, offering different options and opportunities to promote festivities. This proved to be a great success and still contain much of his work.
