Few people have had an impact like DJ Hektic. His rapid rise to the forefront of the Australian hard dance scene saw him go from debuting to a capacity crowd of 2,000 to winning the coveted title of Australia's number 1 DJ at the national hard dance awards, all within 18 months!

Now a resident at Queensland's number 1 club night, 'Fridays at Family', Hektic has played at some of Australia's biggest events including Magic
City and Defqon.1. Having toured all around Australia with shows in Sydney, Adelaide and Darwin, the pinnacle of Hektic's career so far was when he played at the biggest hard dance festival on the planet - the Dutch edition of Defqon.1! Being recognised as an emerging talent, global juggernaut Q Dance invited Hektic to play on the purple stage of Defqon.1 2010 at Almere Strand Holland which attracted 43,000 people. It had been a dream of Hektic's for some years and when the dream became a reality it was one of the amazing experiences of his life.

Specialising in hardstyle, Hektic's sets are filled with energy and big melodies! Hektic feeds off the energy of the music and the crowd and puts on a show which gets the crowd even more excited! His well earned reputation for blinding sets has seen Hektic support some of the biggest names in the business including Zany, Donkey Rollers, Showtek and Proteus just to name a few.
