D'Cepticon

In 2008 Roy de Waard came in touch with an old-colleague, who was a radio-dj at a local broadcast. Roy became fascinated so he bought 2 turntables and a mixer for himself to mix his own music. His preference for Hardstyle was quickly determined because he went to parties like Qlimax, Defqon and Decibel. Around late 2009, early 2010, after a lot of practice and participating in contests, he finally got his chance. He won a contest from Complicated in which he got a spot in the line-up next to DJ Digital Punk. Late 2010, after Fear FM returned as a online radio channel, Roy could get a spot as a resident from Fear FM. He got the spot and so, you can listen to Roy as D'Cepticon every Friday between 6 and 7 PM. At one point Roy met a MC, who was on the right track to become popular and they decided to work together. Since then, Roy (D'Cepticon) and Dion (MC No-iD) performed a lot together at parties, where they tear the place apart. Roy and Dion performed a lot together at parties like ''Dangerouzmind'', ''Beatbusters'', ''Twilight Zone'' and ''Pitch Black'' together with DJ's like Zatox, Jack of Sound, Adaro, Bioweapon, Alpha Twins, Noisecontrollers, Shockerz and many more.

You can explain D'Cepticon's DJ style as energetic, notable, fast mixing and not with standard intro – outro mixing. D'Cepticon also adapts to his crowd or the line-up, but always does his own thing. He also experiments with Dubstyle, "Subground", Hardtrance and Early Hardstyle sometimes. D'Cepticon stands for a good mixing technique and quality, but it should not lack of the performance of the DJ behind the tables. D'Cepticon always tears the place apart.
