Biografie
At a very young age, Vasco was fascinated with music and as a result mastered various instruments, such as the piano and keyboard, to be able to write songs and compose musical pieces.
In 2003, Vasco was inspired when he saw various DJ's performed in the trendy Rotterdam nightlife. The unique vibe and energy of a DJ pleasing the crowd raised his interest to produce his own music which is why he invested in both analog and digital gear as a step towards reaching his goal of becoming a DJ and produce his own music.
After experimenting with a range of musical styles and learning to use different mixing techniques, Vasco discovered his talent as a DJ and producer.
It wasn't long before he got invited to play as a guest DJ at the Hollywood Music Hall in Rotterdam.
In 2005, when he decided to turn his musical focus to Latin, Deep and Progressive House music, subsequently transitioned into the exclusive use of digital media.
He got invited for guest appearances with DJ's like Don Diablo, Roog and Chuckie.
Vasco Vie has given performances at The Thalia, Hollywood Music Hall, in Rotterdam, Sfeermakers in Naaldwijk and Panama in Amsterdam. Vasco Vie also toured throughout the Netherlands with the Get Lounged project from the Holland Casino.
Appearances throughout Europe include the Mix Club in Paris, Nikki Beach in Marbella and the Catamaran Parties on the isle of Ibiza.
Vasco Vie is a prolific artist, presenting his podcast '60 Minutes Of Sessions" featuring his own contemporary mixes, guest appearances by other DJ's and artists, and live reports from the different Vasco Vie shows.
