Black Death

At the age of 10, when I started listening to harder music I bought my first hardcore CD [Thunderdome XV]. When I turned 13 I started DJ-ing with vinyl and got a double CD player [Numark CDN25] for my birthday. I started out DJ-Ing with all kinds of styles with a drive-in show called: Dreams [which I took over from my nephew for a few years]. Around the age of 16 I discovered even harder music, namely: Terror and Speedcore. I began my Terror/Speedcore DJ career as SL! I've had foreign performances in Belgium & Germany and at Ik Ben Je Bitch Niet, Schijt Aan!, Fucking Bastards and P.O.R.N. I changed my name to Black Death in 2009 to create a more detailed character[story] around the name [to bring it more to life], I've been a part of Speedcore Terror Kinetic from 2012 until the end of STK in 2020 and still form a duo with Hellcreator a.k.a. The Dark Sanctuary called: Suicide Death Squad. Started producing tracks in 2004 and produce a wide selection of styles, which are divided under my aliases Black Death [Speedcore & Terror], Pestilence [Core styles; Hardcore, Oldschool, Crossbreed, Etc.] & Death To Your Eardrums [Extratone & Noise]. In 2013 I started my own label Saw Blade Records, because I believe there's too little experimental & diverse music on the market. I'm a creative and energetic person, influenced by everything I see/experience. You can see/hear this in my Live performances and DJ sets, [but more when I perform Live]. I think outside of the box, create my own path and don't do something because everybody does! I spend almost all of my time working on music; either producing tracks, writing lyrics or thinking about a track/searching for samples/ideas.
