Biografie
·Jimnastics (1986) started playing the drums at the age of eleven. Then, mostly influenced by groups as "a tribe called quest" & "the pharcyde", he started to mc as well and spread his own rap cd's in Haarlem.
After moving to Amsterdam he was more and more interested in electro music, partly because of his brother, DJ Tron.
After visiting a lot of performances in the Electro-scene and being inspired by artists as Dr. Lektroluv, DJ T. & Alan Braxe, Jimnastics decided to get started with DJ-ing as well.
Like most DJ's, Jimnastics started playing at private parties in the centre of Amsterdam. During one of those parties Jim adopted the pseudonym "Jimnastics", which refers to the preference to play powerful, energetic music.
During his short DJ career, Jimnastics has been able to create his own unique sound, which is a mesh up of quality Deephouse, Minimal/Techno and Electro.
