Rain Petit

Rain Petit is a mixed race 90's kid and an absolute music junkie. He grew up in a small town in the south of the Netherlands. At a very young age his general love for music caused him to develop a broad taste in music, ranging from 90's hiphop, reggae to jungle and dub. Rain's take on this: "Any music can be my music, as long as I feel it on the inside."

After living in the South for all his life and starting up a career as a DJ he moved to Amsterdam. Rain wanted to get inspired, perfect his skills as a DJ and by doing so take his music career to the next level. He focuses on Roots & Culture and Bass & Grime so he only plays reggae, dub and bass music.

In just a short amount of time Rain managed to play at some of the most iconic venues in Amsterdam, like: Melkweg, Paradiso, Sexyland, OT301, OCCII and Ruigoord.

He also played in the underground venue Club 26 in Berlin, during his set the dancing crowd changed into a moshpit.

Rain is all about sharing is passion and energy for music. He won't stop playing tunes before he destroys every dance floor. Summer 2020 there is a first release with the guys from Sun Collective.
