Miss Capital-D

How it all started
Miss Capital-D was only 15 years old. After joining a DJ workshop she got interested in the dj scene, the beats were a huge attraction to her. After some tips and tricks she took the step to join a female dj contest for beginning DJ's of Slam FM. She finished at second place. After this adventure, she has joined several contests. She ended up first place at a DJ battle, and was allowed to play for a large audience. Since that time she has gained extensive experience in clubs throughout the country.

Breaktrough
In 2009 she participated in the Kunstbende DJ contest, after a brilliant qualifying of the province she steamed through to the semi finals and as the only woman came up in the final, where she also convinced the jury to win. After this contest, everything really got started, suddenly she plays at Extrema Outdoor and nothing less than Mysteryland. She was invited to join a MTV broadcast and was asked to come into radio studio's to play her sounds. In 2010, she was even awarded for the Best upcoming DJ talent from SLAM!FM at the Nightlife Awards.

After all of this, she has played in different venues. And also played in Germany and Belgium. In the meantime she also worked hard for her study as Graphic designer. She graduated in 2012 and directly began to work at a design studio.

Now and future
She is working as an image editor based in Amsterdam. After a long break in the dj scene, she's very happy to announce that she's back to make people dance again.
