Ramon

Ramon has been playing for almost 23 years now. He started his residency at the age of 19 in the La D^S, in The Hague. He played there every Saturday for 8 years and his club night become well known all throughout the country. Even the press reported his success. From there on he build up his name and experience. It wouldn't take long before almost every club & party organization in Holland wanted to add DJ Ramon to their weekly line up, and soon he needed a booking agency to organize his agenda. His fame grew internationally and clubs abroad started to show interest. In the past years he played in Italy, Greece, Indonesia, Germany, and France to name just a few. His style can best be described as warm, danceable, deep, sweaty beats with an extremely funky atmosphere in which one can't miss his years of experience.

Since Rhythm Import approached Ramon to run the Techno Basement, he fills his days with buying and selling records world widely. Besides he took up the A&R Management for Spiritual Records & Outland Records, and was able to put the labels on the map internationally by carefully selecting quality artists and producers around him.The releases were well received by d.j.'s like Carl Cox who licensed 2 tracks for his mix compilation, Sister Bliss, Deep Dish, Pete Heller and many more.

After releasing other producers on the Spiritual label he started up a project with producer/friend Sean McCafferty under the name Synapses.Their first release got picked up by Pete Heller, and Sister Bliss from Faithless who used it for her mix cd she did for Ministry Of Sound. Ramon also did several compilations for Startraxx and Spiritual which sold over thousands of copies all over the world.
As you can see a guy with many years of experiences of several levels in the music- & dance industry!
