Biografie
Martin's love of house music started pretty much at the same as the music itself in the late 80s. Martin would mix sets at the local youth club near his home fuelling a dream of DJing on a larger scale. From Martin's early days of playing in commercial clubs he became known for playing the more upfront/underground house music of the day including early Acid House and went on to play at other local clubs during the early 90s at Claires & The Monastery in Torquay, Voltz and Warehouse in Exeter and also 'Scream' at the Warehouse in Plymouth
The 'Full Tilt' night at Claires in Torquay is where Martin really made a name for himself in the area playing warm-up sets for Nick Warren, Jody Wisternhoff, Rocky & Diesel, Mark Wilkinson, John Digweed, Dave Seaman, Lisa Loud, Clive Henry, Billy Nasty and more.
Following successful sets in Torquay, Martin went on to play in Plymouth in the late 90s for the area's biggest dance music night, 'Scream' at the Warehouse/Oz. Regular dj's on the night were Sasha, John Digweed, Paul Oakenfold and many more big names.
Martin was also part of Torquay-based studio and helped create Slapback Records with Dave Parkinson [now a top studio engineer for Toolroom] and produce his own music that also gained play and support from Judge Jules at KissFM.
Since those days Martin has amassed some great gigs at venues in the UK, France and in 2010 playing in Ibiza with 2 sets on the main stage at Ibiza Rocks Hotel. July 2011 saw Martin return to Ibiza to play for Lost in Ibiza, Soundfarm studios with Emulator and also at the massively popular Kanya on sunset strip. Martin is a regular in Les Deux Alpes and Alpe D'Huez during winter and summer seasons playing regular nights at Smithy's Tavern, Le Breslien, Mini Bar, L'Avalanche Club and also at the legendary Pano Bar situated on the mountain playing banging sets to around 2000 people surrounded by snow! In the UK is currently playing weekend Terrace parties at Torquay Pavilion which has a view to die for!
Martin currently has two shows for online radio station KlimakzFM every Wednesday and Thursday at 7pm-8m. He's also been sponsored by CYW by Urbanz Headphones and will be promoting the brand as much as possible.
Martin's thirst for playing the best new house music is never quenched and he is working hard to produce new music and gain more exposure worldwide.
