Fabian Gulzar

In the early seventies the world started to play some funky disco sounds and Fabian decided to check them out. Within a couple of years after that he bought his own records like Jocelyn Brown's somebody else's guy. At the age of 14 he felt the need to express what music felt like for him. He got his very first mixer and started mixing those funky beats into a smooth compilation.

This was a feeling he just had to share and at the age of 17 he knew how to make people bounce at parties and local clubs. The passion for music just kept growing and so did his audience. In the nineties he organised some bigger events like the Cartouche Reunion (Utrecht) and people enjoyed his tunes at clubs like Escape (Amsterdam), Fellini (Utrecht), Luxor (Arnhem), Hollywood (Eindhoven) & 'T Vat 69 (Leeuwarden).

In the years after that he made some career moves, but music appeared to be his destination. In 2004 he became a resident at Barrio Habanna (Arnhem) and Happy Dayzz (Culemborg). In 2005 he moved to Suriname and continued his art. There DJ Fabian was one off the founders of a lot of smashing parties where he played uplifting house music and was a resident DJ at Club Starzz, the largest and most famous club in Suriname. In the summer of 2006 Fabian Gulzar came back 2 the Netherlands where Bloomingdale (Bloemendaal),The revolution (Rotterdam), The Maxbrothers (Arnhem),Happy Dayzz (Culemborg),De Arc (Amsterdam) where waiting for him. DJ Fabian has shared the wheels of steel with great artists like Axwell, Benny Rodriques, Chuckie, Erick E, FLG, Gregor Salto, Jean, Lady Bee, Roog, Sunnery James & Rayen Marciano and many more.

Nowadays his specific expression of music can be best described as Passionate, Uplifting and Happy! Many music lovers embrace his work as he plays at clubs like,Canvas on the 7th, Club Home, Momo, Club NL, Panama, Supperclub, Zebra lounge (Amsterdam). But also outside Amsterdam he is already well known. Thousands of people were driven to the edge of sanity when he made the streets shiver on Queensday and at the Gaypride. In Marche 2009 he launched his own treat under the name FAB., which has been a big hit. His uplifting spirit can also be found on a weekly basis at The Arc & The News for he is a resident of these clubs.
