Biografie
Nick Fryer PKA Nick Sentience began Dj'ing at 15 in his home town of Portsmouth UK and after doing his first gig at age 16 he decided to start producing his own music as well. After buying his first keyboard a Kawai K11 an Atari computer and a Roland mc 303 he managed to get one of his tracks featured on the legendary Future Music magazine at age 17., this led to him being signed to the massive Media/Nukleuz records at 18 and Nick Moved to London to work as in house producer and in the next 2 years the label would overtake Ministry of Sound as the leading selling label in the UK.
Nicks first Big Break came with his track "Purple Twilight" which was picked up by Judge Jules on BBC radio 1 and then "Digital Dialogue" was Kiss Fm Big Beat of the week. After this success and another big single "Freedom" Nick landed in the DJ top 100 at 74 (2 places ahead of the Chemical brothers who were at 76) he was only 21 years old, the youngest Dj to be in that year.
This meteoric rise led to extensive touring and sets at all the world's top super clubs and festivals. Nick went to Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, Ibiza, and of course around the UK and London in legendary clubs Ministry of Sound, Gallery, Slinky, Gatecrasher, Cream Ibiza, Eden Ibiza, Space Ibiza, Liquid rooms and Godskitchen. This led to Nick Producing his debut artist album Universal Language which went on to be voted best album on 4clubbers.net and its lead single "Cause and effect" was voted "tune of the year" in Mixmag. It was then featured on a special competition on Pete Tongs Radio 1 Essential Selection. Nick launched this album at Home in Sydney and toured it extensively for the next 2 years. 2 more awards flowed in this time for "Best Remix" for both "Never lost his Hardcore" and "Hostile" After the Universal language tour, Nick started producing a new album and live set complete with graphics called "Dance Planet" this was launched in 2007 and London's prestigious Shepherd's Bush Empire and this led to another world tour of festivals and super clubs for 2 years. Nick's 3rd album "Syncronized" has been his most successful to date and has had many tracks played and supported by the whose who of A-list DJ's from Armin Van Buuren, Paul Oakenfold, Judge Jules, Simon Patterson, Sean Tyas, John O Callaghan, Ali and Fila. Eddie Halliwell, Jordan Suckley, Dave Pearce and many more. A string of hit singles followed such as "Meridian" and "Electrify" on Reset records featured on BBC Essential mix with Simon Patterson, A show stopping remix of Matt Everson "Heist Manouvre" featured on ASOT and next was the hit single "Nocturnal/Kinetic" Ep on John O callaghan's Subculture/Armada creating devastating scenes at ASOT 450 and Cream Ibiza and climbing into the top 15 on Beatport. Nick was then chosen by Paul Oakenfold to re launch Legendary Perfecto records with a chart topping remix of Man With No Name "Teleport" which got to no.4 in the Beatport top 100 and then we have another ASOT favourite in the form of "Freefalling/Affinity" EP on Reset Records and then "Sylo/Threshold" on Night Vision.
Nick is now producing a new record for Paul Oakenfold's new Radio 1 essential mix and forthcoming compilation and a collab with scene leader Simon Patterson called Whiplash is set for a summer release. A new remix for John 00 Flemming and Astrix is under way, so with a new 4th album under production the best is yet to come
