Biografie
Based in Amsterdam, originally from Ipswich in England, Kreed has been playing since 1993 when he and a mate ran a mobile disco featuring the best Top 40 hits!
Kreed has been a member of Amsterdam's tech house scene since the late 90's. In those days he was performing at the legendary Mazzo, Trance Buddah, Vaaghuyzen, Paradiso, Twstd, Escape, Panama, Stubnitz, Melkweg etc and had a residency at Club NL.
His influences are Slipmatt, Francois K, Danny Tenaglia, Billy Nasty, Nathan Coles, Eddie Richards, Terry Francis, A Guy Called Gerald, all Mazzo artists back in the day, Happy Mondays, Stone Roses, The Cure, Carl Cox, Keith Fielder, Sasha, The Aloof, Mum & Dad, Wiggle, MCFC, 2020 Vision, Tonka, Richie Hawtin etc...
He has played for organisations such as Dance Valley, Advanced, The Bus, Underground Heaven, Error Krew, Traffic, Mono etc to name but a few.
He has also played alongside international artists such as Umek, Veztax, Dan Ghenacia and Nathan Coles. Kreed also featured alongside Steven de Peven on a weekly cable radio show in Amsterdam back in the late 90's.
He grew up in Amsterdam's underground scene playing with local heroes Melon, Boris Werner, Lauhaus, Bart Skils, Juriaan, Diablo, David Labeij, Angelo, Kabale und Liebe, Aron Friedman, San Proper, Oliver Kucera etc...
Kreed has several international bookings to his name, including New York, Austria, Croatia etc, and has performed Dj sets on internet radio and national radio stations.
Kreed is currently signed to Cosmic Disco records producing alongside Diablo and will soon start work on his solo projects.
