Mind X

André Forrer aka DJ Mind-X started his DJ career in 1990 in his hometown Bern. It was back in the late 1980's when he there went to his first parties. Not only the music grabbed him, but more and more he also got fascinated about mixing it. One day he met his fate when he got to know a founder of the event organiser Inka Imperio. So after his first event in 1993 at Bern's Aarebar, he started his big DJ carrier at the legendary Inka Imperio parties. Meanwhile, there are no major event or club in Switzerland and Europe that DJ Mind-X had not played: ‹Energy›, ‹Motion›, ‹Evolution›, ‹Goliath›, ‹Atlantis›, ‹Futurescope›, ‹Warcraft›, ‹OXA› Zurich, ‹Gate One› Bern, ‹MAD› Lausanne or ‹Nachtwerk› Thun, just to name a few. Following his DJ career, DJ Mind-X also got more and more into production and founded his label ‹Harem› Records. Over the past years he released over 20 singles, did remixes for artists such as Yves Deruyter or B-Voice and worked together with popular producers like Tandu (Ayla), Torsten Stenzel (Taucher, York, Sakin & Friends) or Ralf Fridge (Komakino, Vectrex). These collaborations brought out classic trance anthems such as «Temple of Love» (Fog Area) - DJ Mind-X's, Torsten Stenzel's and DJ Buzz tribute song to the Energy 1998 rave, or «Never talk to Aliens» - the anthem of the ‹Evolution 7› new years rave event.

After his big Hit Nightingale in 1998 he became big international club successes and brought him credibility at home and abroad. From that point of DJ Mind-X's career, also the booking requests came from far beyond the Swiss borders: Norway, Spain, Israel, Austria, France, Italy and appearances in clubs like ‹Webster Hall› New York, ‹Shadow Lounge› Miami, ‹Space› Ibiza, ‹Tarmcenter› Bochum, ‹X-TRA› Koblenz, ‹Reaktor› Bühl, ‹Paramount Park› Frankfurt and ‹E.D. Elephant› ao were the consequence.

Nowadays he became again a monster international status with his worldwide burner tune "Sensation Seekers" which became for more than 10 weeks No. 1 at Beatport Allover Charts... In 2011 he strikes back with the MONSTER update of this big club hymne, Sensation Seekers 2.1...

Furthermore he is very active in the national Scene for New Trance and released several new tracks like Lay me Down, "Straight Boom Rush (with Snowman and Talla 2XLC) and then the big anthem in summer 2015 "The Gate" together with Talla 2XLC with a big success on Beatport #7 (Trance Charts!). Out soon the new single "Wonderland" in a collaboration with one of the most famous Trance Labels in the world... More very soon
