With over twelve years of experience as a dedicated harder styles fan, Josha (JOSHA) is deeply rooted in the scene long before stepping behind the decks. Rarely missing a weekend, she developed a sharp ear for the genre and a true understanding of what moves a crowd, knowledge that now defines her sound and vision as an artist.
What started as a hobby quickly evolved when JOSHA began sharing her journey of learning how to mix uptempo on TikTok. By openly taking her audience into her creative process, her videos consistently went viral, gaining massive traction and recognition within the scene. As her following grew, she launched her Baby Lets Bounce sets on SoundCloud, a series that instantly resonated and has since become widely recognized within the uptempo community.
Her TikTok presence organically reached the right people, resulting in her first bookings. After her debut performance at Rauwe Kicks, momentum accelerated rapidly. Soon after, her content reached Intents Festival, leading to an invitation to perform, a debut that resulted in a packed Boombox stage. That same summer, JOSHA went on to perform at Defqon.1 and Decibel Outdoor.
Driven by this breakthrough, JOSHA immediately dove into the studio to develop her own sound and founded her own uptempo label, NYXIUM Records. She released her debut track on the label shortly after its launch. NYXIUM Records is fully dedicated to euphoric uptempo, a sound JOSHA felt was missing in the scene. Her vision is clear, creating joyful, uplifting yet uncompromisingly hard uptempo music that balances emotion with raw power.
This philosophy defines both her productions and her performances. With her energetic presence, fast paced sets and distinctive musical direction, JOSHA represents a new wave of artists shaping the future of uptempo hardcore.
