Biografie
Ruben Karapetyan is a proud Armenian born in Yerevan & raised in LA, California. A veteran DJ who got his first pair of decks 3 decades back, he has been influenced by the '90s rave movement, as well as top notch pioneers of the Electronic Music industry such as Sasha, John Digweed, and Nick Warren amongst others!
The new millennium found him as a main part of desert parties & underground raves in the US with his very first 12" coming out 18 years ago remixing Tag's 'Fire' and after a short break and reorganizing, Ruben is back presenting his brand-new solo project!
In 2020 Ruben's name get known to the modern electronic music industry with a big signing on Greek imprint of Movement Recordings, receiving massive remix treatment by heroes of Progressive House such as Stan Kolev & Emi Galvan in his 'Gignesthai' single that came in November! In February 2021 he drops "Hathor" including 2 massive remixes by Matan Caspi and Stan Kolev, entering the top10 right in the first minutes of its release !!
Ruben is focusing in combining traditional sounds of his motherland together with modern electronic beats & pieces as well as remixing legendary musicians & electronic music producers! Till the global pandemic's ended, he remains focused on his studio projects with plans for post-covid dj tours to take place soon, so keep an eye on him & stay tuned for new releases & projects by Ruben Karapetyan, who's here to stay!
