Perfo

A native of the south of France, and currently based in Berlin, Thibaud, known by his artist name Perfo produces a sound which is characterized by dark, aggressive and dynamic rhythms, tense atmospheres and a hypnotic dimension.

Born into a family that placed creativity and sport at the forefront, his passion for music began from a young age. First, as a Dj in Marseille and then later as a producer.

Moving from French Provence to Berlin at the age of 22, he got the opportunity to advance in the musical field with very clear ideas regarding his electronic vocation. From now on, Perfo has been in the city of the beat long enough to have located, made several dates and creative like-minded minds to work and collaborate with on a musical level.

He became infatuated with the city, with Berlin winning a place in his heart due to its unparalleled range of inspiration, and constantly evolving electronic music scene.

Freshly arrived at Underrated Agency last October, joining artists like Eric Fetcher, Léa Occhi or BLNDR, he was able to make his debut in his new family alongside Blazej Malinowski. In the same period, Perfo released his very first Ep on Koryu Budo Records to offer four cuts of rugged, intense and textured techno named Sheathing Variations 1 - 4.

Inspired by the techno scene of the 2000's, from old school rhythmics to digital sounds, from textures of noise ranging to mental techno, Perfo is discovering and spanning a collection of experimental spaces as links between past and future.
