Stevie R

London based Stavros Potamitis AKA Stevie R, has been navigating his own course in the world of electronic music with productions full of originality and technical skill. Whilst Stevie R's music cannot be categorized into a particular genre, there are genuine feelings and emotions behind every track he has ever produced. His productions have been released on well known labels such as OFF Recordings, Babiczstyle, Chapter 24 Records, Parquet, Motek Music, Steyoyoke, Parallel as well as his own highly regarded underground label Inside Out Records. His live set has graced such well known clubs as Ritter Butzke and Sisyphos in Berlin, Cavo Paradiso in Mykonos, Gudruns in Oslo, Loook in St Petersburg and Egg, Cargo and Rhythm Factory in London.

Stavros is a classically trained musician, studying classical guitar and music theory in his native Greece since he was 6 years old. Stevie R's talents have been recognized well beyond the dance floors, with his music featured on some of the world's biggest TV Networks in HBO, BBC, National Geographic and many more. His versatility as a musician is underlined by his experimental band After Altamont, which released its debut album in 2016 to rave reviews, combining electronica with traditional Greek instruments and progressive rock textures.

Stevie R's skills as a sound designer are also well known with his sample packs produced for the likes of Sample Magic, Cr2 Records, Samplephonics regularly top the Beatport charts and are recognized as amongst the best around. He is currently one of the youngest instructors at Point Blank College in London, which has been voted the world's 'Best Music Production & DJ School' by the readers of DJ Mag.
