Biografie
Dutch punk rock band Note to Amy (White Russian Records) has released The House on June 29th, the second song in a series of singles. First single Loved Ones was released mid March and was accompanied by a much talked about video. The group recorded the tracks at the end of last year, together with producer Robin van Loenen (Destine). Troy Glessner (MxPx, Underoath, August Burns Red, Devin Townsend) took care of the mastering.
Despite being busy writing even more new material, the band also performs live a lot. This year with I Against I, Call It Off and Cooper, amongst others. And at festivals like RosRock and Breda Barst. Last years the guys did gigs with the likes of Ignite, Chixdiggit, Travoltas and Bambix. A year earlier the band played with Bad Religion (Melkweg, Amsterdam), Strung Out and Millencolin (013, Tilburg), did two Bad Religion-cover sets and acoustic show at Groezrock festival (B).
In its 12 years of existence the band played about 250 shows, supporting bands like Coheed And Cambria, Silverstein, Cancer Bats, Samiam, Mucky Pup and Death By Stereo. The five guys toured Germany, Czech Republic, Spain, France and Belgium, played a sold out gig at the The Garage, London and performed at Dutch festivals like Paaspop, Jera On Air and Pedro Pico Pop.
The band's debut album Midnight Arsons/Morning Ghosts saw the light of day in 2011. The follow-up Life Is Not Enough was released at the end of 2014 by White Russian Records. Note to Amy's music is inspired by punk rock's greatest artists and includes catchy choruses, lots of speed and energy and powerful vocals. Check out the videos for singles Going Down, Here They Come Now, About Murder and Love Is A Dog From Hell.
