Biografie
Considered an icon of the darker and harder shades of techno music, Steve Shaden is, to date, one of the freshest and most interesting artists on the world techno scene. His sound is a unique blend of old-school and modern sounds, engineered to make move the dancefloors.
Steve approached to techno music at the age of 17, starting as Dj and, a few years after graduating in audio engineering and music production, he also started to produce his own music.
With his productions Steve quickly made his name and sound known in the global techno scene, gaining support over the years of artists like: Charlotte De Witte, Adam Beyer, Amelie Lens, Richie Hawtin, Sam Paganini, Chris Liebing, Dax_J, SLAM as also from the major techno labels who released his music, such as: Suara, Analytic-trail, OFF recordings, Phobiq, Naked Lunch… and many others The constant presence of his productions in the top 100 tracks of Beatport, has allowed him to reach the first place in the annual chart of Beatport hardtechno artists on 2017.
Steve's successes don't stop at his career as a producer but also as a DJ he manages to reach important milestones over the years, by first creating his own radio show, "district techno" (2014), which allowed him to spread his music through the FM radio of 24 countries, up to the point of performing, to date, in 15 different countries around the world, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Scotland, Holland, Hungary, Slovakia, Bosnia, Serbia, Kazhakstan... to name a few.
Starting from 2018 Steve also created and run his two labels, EXE and LEVEL, which immediately received the support of the greatest exponents of the global techno scene.
EXE, after being nominated 5 times in a year as the best hype label of the month, gains the access at at the Annual TOP100 Techno labels of Beatport on 2019.
Steve's continuous artistic growth also leads him to be selected by Charlotte De Witte herself to participate in his KNTXT radio program in May 2020, making become him, in effect, one of the most wanted underground artists at the moment.
