Biografie
Trying to find a good Trance DJ in Germany is like looking for a needle in a haystack. Damian Duda is that needle. Growing up in a family of professional musicians, he was heavily influenced by the techno and trance waves of the late 90s. His passion for DJing developed early, as he experimented and honed his unique musical style. By crafting distinct soundtracks and atmospheres in his sets, Damian's philosophy is rooted in storytelling through different soundscapes and melodies.
Initially providing background music at author readings, Damian's talent quickly earned him recognition beyond these smaller events. He went on to perform at renowned clubs like the legendary Cocoon Club in Frankfurt and Bootshaus in Cologne, sharing the stage with trance heavyweights such as Armin Van Buuren, Markus Schulz, Paul Van Dyk, Above & Beyond, and ATB in Germany. Additionally, in 2010, he became the first non-French artist to represent the Progressive-Trance genre as an official resident DJ for the French national EDM magazine OnlyForDJs, where he held a monthly residency for a year with significant press support.
Dedicated to keeping the trance scene alive in Germany, Damian now regularly presents and reviews new releases in his monthly column for the German electronic music magazine FAZE Mag, with the backing of several prominent record labels. His passion for the genre and his drive to keep it thriving have earned him a solid place in the German and European trance community.
