Biografie
·Dwight Steven creates a refreshing blend of contemporary pop music and his signature writing style. Born in the Netherlands, with roots from Suriname / South America. Dwight started his musical career by visiting local talent shows and open MIC nights. His ambition for singing and writing lyrics came from his childhood.
As the son of a single mother, he lived in various boarding schools at an early age. That's when music became one of the most important things in his life. Years later he met up with producer Tony Verdult. Tony took him under his wing, and became his producer and vocal coach. Throughout this collaboration arises a diverse repertoire, whereby Dwight ended up on several stages opening up for big dutch acts, like Gers Pardoel.
As a result of that he collaborated with dutch artists such as Alain Clark and Ali B. Dwight recently teamed up with production duo DFRNS. Which created the trumpet filled radio smash 'Money Tree'. The duo can be known for the song 'Your Loss, I'm Found'' which they produced for singer Jessie J.
