Mvzzik

Mvzzik is the musical alter ego of Dutch born Dj & Producer Frank van Rooijen.
With a Gold Record and a Silver Record to his name, this Internationally acclaimed producer topped the worldwide charts as one half of the producers' duo behind one of the biggest club anthems ever - Lock 'n Loads' "Blow ya Mind". Frank's talent as producer and remixer has resulted in over 180 music productions spanning various music genres and has even led him to do an official remix for Queen's Freddie Mercury which has been released on Parlophone Records. His immaculate Dj skills and charismatic stage presence have seen him play at International clubs, parties and festivals from Amsterdam to Hawaii.

Mvzzik tracks are the culmination of Frank's musical journey which started in the early 90's drawing inspiration from the likes of Kevin Saunderson, Larry Heard, Grandmaster Flash, Gang Starr, KRS-One, Afrika Bambaataa, Armand van Helden, Kenny Dope Gonzalez, Kerri Chandler, Mark Farina, Johnny Fiasco and Derrick Carter.

Frank's motto "The future is finding a space to honor the past" is clearly present in his distinctive raw House and Jackin House productions. Mvzzik's tracks have been released on Seventy Four Records, Mood Funk, Mikita Skyy, Spacedisco Records, Krome Boulevard Records, Melt Tofu, Hi! Reaction and Bounce House Recordings to name a few.
