Mark Main

One could assume that the Swiss, Marcel Dominic Zimmerli, was born already as a DJ and music producer.
Already in the age of 13 he was fascinated what DJ's did, and two years later he had his first public performances in various clubs in Switzerland.
Soon afterwards also bigger Clubs and organizers discovered him and recognized his talent.
By that time his favourite style of music was Trance because he could identify himself with this.
After a short time his own songs on various CD compilations and own vinyls were available.

The biggest success by that time was his own production on the Energy03 Life CD.
After this first success the biggest clubs and organizers like OXA, Club Q Energy, Motion, Sonic, Mythos etc. became aware of him an he had a one hour gig on VIVA TV.
Shortly after that he received a residency at the OXA.
From this time on he performed in the most successful clubs in Switzerland and got the first gigs abroad: Discoteca Shock! in Torino, Altromondo Studios in Rimini und other clubs in Germany, Austria and France.
By the end of 2006 he changed his his style of music to House and Electro, in addition he established his own party label Be Electro, which is still well known today.
Further international gigs followed: Carnaby in Rimini, Tropics & Bumpers in Lloret del Mar and Zapata in Stuttgart.
In 2008 he launged with an event-compilation his first CD in Switzerland.
In 2010 he changed his name to DJ Mark Main and the Swiss agency Artistcorner GmbH offered him a contract.
This agency represents e.g. Remady, Mr. Da-Nos and Mr. Pink as well as many international artists like Bushido, Sido, Tomekk, Adbel, Fatman Scoop, Mousse T.
From now on he performed regularly at the greatest Swiss Events like the Energy, Starhouse, Kingshouse and Touch me Events, at various seasonal festivals like Touche the Air, Touch the Lake, on a lovemobile at the Streetparade, Bar & Pub Festival in Wetzikon, Openair Gampel and at many more highlights.
Also international clubs belong to DJ Mark Main's portfolio: The Baia Imperiale in Rimini, the Altro Mondo Studio, the Tropics in Lloret del Mar, Moef Gaga, X-Tra, Privée de Magic and Bumpers.
Further stations were the SupperClub and the Supperclub Cruise in Amsterdam, Zlaty Strom in Prag, Top10 in Germany and the Hemingway Club in Croatia.
During the whole time he composed new song in the studio which can be found on well known compilations.
Among other things he supported the official remix to the Smash Hit 'One Nation" by Mr. Da-Nos, played from all radio stations.
In the year of 2014 he played at all well known EDM festivals like Isle of Dreams, Mystery Park Festival, Cubik and at big events like Bar & Pubfestivals or Barstreet Luzern & Bern in front of 6000 people.
Currently DJ Mark Main is fully booked on weekends and plays as headliner besides DJ stars like Mike Candys, Remady, Sir Colin, Christopher S, Jack Holiday and more.
Mid of March he launched a new, swisswide well known compilation with own songs on it.
DJ Mark Main has found his way to Lacave Records and is now supported by a professional team which allows him to increase successfully his career.

His Single "This is Human" entered the German Dance Charts after one Week.
In early May he appeared Fuck the DJ who was even short time in the iTunes charts.
The latest Single called 'Are you alive" was released by Lacave Records Germany.
In 2017 he stayed a long time in Studio to present his new Music around the World.
