DJ'ing is all about the love of music, and at an early age Tim Jasionowski fell in love with music.
The more weird, or extreme the better.
As a teenager Tim taught himself the drums and rather quickly was playing in a couple bands making death metal, and hardcore punk music.
After a time away from playing in bands his music taste evolved further to drum and bass, hardcore, and industrial.
Eventually teaching himself the art of DJ'ing he started with guest sets at the local clubs during the alternative nights.
Eventually landing residency spots at Necto night club in Ann Arbor, MI for their wild Factory Monday's, and at the famous Leland City Club: one of the oldest underground clubs in the USA.
Spinning industrial and goth music was fun, but this found him wanting more.
Eventually turning back to the extreme of electronic music;thus finding his favorite label PRSPCT Recordings out of Rotterdam.
The punk rock mentality and crushing releases were quickly an influence, motivated to spread this attitude Tim created Iconian.
Known for sets that merge genres, and changing pace, while also playing some of the highest BPM's in Detroit.
In fall of 2015 Tim won an opening slot for PRSPCT's RVLT festival (a dream come true).
More than ever, everything Iconian does and will do is for the love of the music!
