Exploring the fronts of electronic music in many of it's styles, Jasper Wiegers has given serious input to the Dutch electronic music scene in all his modesty.
Onanon started dj-ing in 1984 on campsites during the summers.
From 1991 to 1999 he wrote for different Dutch music magazines such as Bassic Groove and Update Magazine.
A bunch of exclusive dj mixes were available at Dutch national broadcaster VPRO 3voor12. His recordlabel Prospect Recordings is asleep since 2005.
From 1998 he organized events in the Netherlands (Phreakz!?, Distronics and other organizations), combining music and visuals in a pure form, promoting artists from different electronic music labels including Warp, Rephlex, Skam and others.
Onanon is still dj-ing and presents a wide range of (electronic) styles. You'll find him mostly at underground events, where he feels comfortable and valued.
