BIO: Steady as a rock, Tim J owns a special spot in the dance scene. His tribal techno and groovy beats are very recognizable and appreciated by numerous big dj's. Tim J is producing and playing for several years now with lots of different artists, like Joff Roach, Miss Melody, Erwin v/d Bliek, Warren Fellow, Stephen JK and many others. Most of his work has been released at Smoke Records, but you can also find releases from Tim J at other record labels, such as Jynx, Tri-Lamb, FoFo, Vinyl Inside, Big Bucks and Vinylized.

PAUL HAZENDONK
STYLE: Techno
BIO:Born in 1982 in the suburbs of Rotterdam, Paul Hazendonk is considered to be one of the fresh talents Holland has to offer at the moment. Eventhough his young age, he has already built up a solid name for himself, playing at numerous parties and festivals throughout Europe since the tender age of 18.
During his career he has played in well known Dutch clubs such as Nighttown, Las Palmas, Asta, Winkel van Sinkel, Patronaat, De Rechter, Doornroosje, Offcorso, Poema and many many more, and for well respected organisations such as Awakenings, MAW, Club Risk, Extrema, Techno Vision and Fast Forward Dance Parade. He has also played in countries such as Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia, Montenegro, Spain, France, Belgium, Sweden, Hungary and Estonia.
Paul’s style has changed throughout the years. In the first years of his active DJ career he was mostly known to do uptempo funky techno sets, playing next to loads of key players in the techno scene such as Chris Liebing, Valentino Kanzyani, Rush, Billy Nasty, Joel Mull, Marco Carola, Luke Slater etc., but nowdays his style has evolved into a deeper and more intense sound with a lower tempo, blending elements of minimal, techhouse, progressive and techno into his sets.
Paul Hazendonk has compiled and mixed three mix cd’s; ‘Technique’ (2002), ‘TASTE’ (2004) and ‘Sound Shifting’ (2006). Furthermore he is doing the A&R for techno labels such as Adult Records, Relatives and Work Hard Play Hard. Next to this he is also running his own label Manual Music which is distributed by Kompakt and releases tracks and remixes from artists such as Petter, Jeff Bennett, Jesse Somfay, Avus, 3 Channels, Daso, Darko Esser, Huggotron, Umek, Giorgos Gatzigristos, Piet van Dongen and some fresh Dutch talents.
Paul’s productions and remixes were released on labels such as Manual Music, Kill Brique, Shadow Fax, Technique, Adult Records, Smoke Records etc.. Same as with his DJ style, his production style has evolved from funky techno stuff into deeper intelligent minimal / techhouse stuff. Last but not least he is currently hosting a radio show every fridaynight at Smart FM named ‘Scratch’ together with his collegue and good friend Francesco Pico.
In 2007 you can expect loads of his productions and remixes coming out on several labels + a brand new mix compilation on the German label Next Essence (digital only). Paul Hazendonk is establishing himself more and more as a highly reputed dj and producer, so be sure to keep your eyes and ears wide open!

ELWOOD SOUL

BIO: Elwood was born in 1974 in Amsterdam. In his teens he had his first contact with house music, Elwood started to buy records immediately. Not much later he was playing his tunes at a voluntary youth club and a local radio station, later he began to organize and play at parties nation wide. After a couple of years Elwood decided to put all of his energy into his work as a designer and had to take some distance from his music.
Fortunately, not long ago, Elwood decided to pick up where he left off. He feels like there is something missing on the modern dancefloor and is ready to fill the gap. Elwood has a classic feel for housemusic, with a mix of present funky/club and Latin sounds he can get the dance floor going in no time.

CARLOS DEL MORAL

DENJAH
STYLE: Reggae
BIO:In 2003 Denjah started as a new selecter (dj) on the Jahva Soundsystem in The Hague and he has been playing with them ever since. He is said to be "the new sensation" in reggae & dancehallculture in Holland "with remarkable feeling for rythm and high potential".
Playing a mix of traditional 'roots' reggae, modern roots, lovers rock and dancehall he has performed on Rastaplas, De Boerderij, Club MI&YU (Rotterdam), the Reggae Geel Festival in Belgium, Paard van Troje, and he is the man behind a monthly dance at Club Silly's.
Reggae will always be his favourite music genre, but as a DJ, Denjah enjoys playing a lot more then just Reggae and Dancehall.
When it comes to playing Hiphop, R&B, House, New Jack Swing, 80's Classics or UK Garage, Denjah will make sure to play an eclectic blend of all styles and keep the crowd entertained through out the whole night. His skills of picking the right track at the right time will make sure you have an evening full of surprises and you'll never know what to expect. Playing hits after hits, his 'Urban Eclectic' sets have set the right mood at parties in Club Silly's, Savanah, Buddha Bar, De Karavaan and Paard van Troje.

HARDBEAT

BIO:DJ Hardbeat is zijn cariere dus begonnen als Dj van het jongerencentrum de Sater in Leidschendam. Dj Hardbeat heette toen nog Magnificent. Het was 1994 toen hij daar voor het eerst een avond mocht draaien. Het mocht toen geen hardcore heten dus hij en 'Sander' noemden het rave (zo kon hij de Sater even foppen) en na een aantal zeer geslaagde avonden kreeg Dj Magnificent samen met Dj Dynamic 'Sander' een vast aantal avonden twee maal per maand.
Dj Hardbeat veranderde zijn naam van Magnificent naar Hardbeat in 1998 en kort daarna stopte hij met het organiseren van de Hardcorefeesten in de Sater. Wel ging hij door met draaien en begon langzaam maar zeker met een carriere als producer. Tot 1999 bleef het nogal stil rond DJ Hardbeat omdat ie zichzelf verder wilde ontwikkelen om later 'Bigger, Bolder & Better' terug te komen. Na altijd alleen maar hardcore gedraaid te hebben vondt hij het tijd worden om zijn muzikale aanbod te verbreden. Dat deed hij en zijn platencollectie is uitgebreid met o.a. Harstyle, Techno, Progressive & (Hard/Goa)Trance.
Nu zijn muzikale aanbod gegroeid was werd het tijd voor een comeback en in 2000 opent hardbeat nieuwe deuren in zijn carriere. Zo draaide hij bij Samsplace Kinky Party’s waarbij vooral het techno en Trance publiek hun avondje uit nooit meer zouden vergeten. Verder draaide hij natuurlijk ook allerlei andere evenementen waar hij wisselend in de genres Hardcore, Hardstyle, Techno, Progressive en Trance het publiek in een extase bracht.
In 2004 draaide hij in Discotheek De Witkamp in het gelderse Laren en stond hij voor het eerst op Sweetvibes het outdoor dance-event van Zoetermeer. In 2005 draaide hij in De Solution, Hillegom, Club Subway Zaandam en ook dit jaar was hij weer van de partij op het altijd gezellige Sweetvibes festijn. Nu het hek van de dam is zullen er dan ook nog vele evenementen volgen waar Dj Hardbeat te zien zal zijn.
Dj Hardbeat heeft o.a. met Dj’s zoals: Bas & Ram, Deepack, Dana, Norman, Deaz-D, Gizmo, Buzz Fuzz & Spawn gedraaid.

JELLISIMO

BIO: Jellisimo is a 24 year old dj/producer from the Netherlands. He started as a DJ 4 years ago, playing on small party's and dj contests. After a while he started organising party's himself, where he met Tim J.
Tim J was enthousiastic about Jellisimo's style, which can be discribed as deep, yet melodic, and overall danceble. Together they went into the studio and discovered their musical styles matched, and produced a couple of tracks which are already released on labels like Armada, Midtown and ofcourse Smoke Records.

M POLO
STYLE: Hardhouse, Hardstyle
BIO: For more than 10 years Deejay M.Polo is professionally active in the dance scene. He started with the harder styles of dance and developed rapidly.
Not long after that he is booked for the bigger events with deejays such as Fausto, Miss Melody, Luna and Pila. The clubs he attends are The Powerzone, Mazzo, Club Heaven and the ITEM. On the side he studies at the University of Amsterdam and in 2004 he graduates as a International Lawyer.
After his graduation he starts giving his own gigs in the Mazzo in Amsterdam and the Stadsschouwburg in Haalem. These events marks the growing influence of groovy, techno sounds in the style of M.Polo. Also on the production level, his tracks are full of these elements: groovy, techno and uplifting.
A few years back, he also successfully help Miss Melody organise the Salinas Sundance events on the beach of Scheveningen. Thousands of people attend these events and for the last two years he closed down the party, with a two hour set. Due to these performances he is asked by ANEW Agency to join them.
In 2007 he took on a partnership with Martin Zandvliet and Spindex. Together with M.Polo they formed Friends of House. Together with big names such as Smoke Recordings, Friends of House will set up a new type of events, starting at the end of 2007.

MAXIMO GOMEZ
STYLE: House, Progressive
BIO: The Dj-ing began in the year 2002, after listening to a mix cd,Maximo Gomez bought 2 turn-tables from a friend. At that moment he began developing his style with using Latin house and by critically listening to his favourite DJs. Soon Maximo develloped his own sound with indescribable lots of rythm. From Latin/Groove upto strong TribalTech House with some electro influences,from which a lot of Party peeps get extatic and taken away to musical hights. This Year maximo Gomez is developing new real house sounds together with his friend Rallf kravt.

MELVIN WARNING

BIO: At the age of 12 he found out that music was the answer to his questions. He discovered that there is more than listening to music. He wanted to create his own sound. So he started to spin some records. After a few months he was discovered at a DJ-contest and played at parties like: Crazyland, Mangaparty, Chillnight, Fast Forward Dance Parade and clubs like Marcanti Plaza, Ministry of Dance just to name a few. At the moment he is working in the studio. Melvin Warning is a person who wants to entertain his crowd with his powerful and energetic sounds.

MIKE SCOLARI
STYLE: Techno
BIO: Around 1993 Mike came in contact with Hardcore music and mixing. His love for Hardcore and mixing was so big that he decided to buy his own turntables en mixer. After a few years Mike came in contact with a new style of electronic music, Techno. At that time he was a student and didn’t have enough money to buy records for both styles. So he was forced to make a decision and he decided to go for Techno-music.
For several years he played at some small party’s in the Netherlands. Three times he has been selected for Q-dance DJ-contest and he made it twice to the finals.

NICKOLAS QUARTEZ
STYLE: Trance, Techno, House
BIO: The ability to transform mixing into an art is one of the most difficult things a DJ can learn. The vibe the crowd gives you is one of the finest things a DJ can feel. Being an artist and being able to put my heart and soul in my music, gives me the ability to set myself free and makes it possible to develop myself even more as an artist.
Being able to mix records the way I did got me my first gig at the age of 15 in a pool hall. Across the poolhall was a club. By coincidence the owner of the club was in the pool hall and heard me play. Hopping from club to club I?ve played aside diffirent names like Mark van Dale, Jurgen, Natarcia and more.

MISS MELODY
STYLE: Techno, Groove
BIO: Music is a matter of course for Miss Melody. Living in Benidorm as daughter of a club owner, she is raised with music and starts djing in his club at the early age of 18.
With the many parties and party-organisers that flood Benidorm each summer, it doesn't take long before she is discovered. She gets well known throughout all of Spain and performs at clubs like Palladium, Ministry of Sound, Privilege and Ku. She is also frequently asked to perform at big events like “Splash” in Madrid , where she enchants the crowd of 12.000 partypeople with her energetic way of dj-ing and elegant appearance.
In 1997, Miss Melody gives up her Spanish life and leaves for the Netherlands , where she takes over her fathers beach-club after he passes away. She names the club “ Salinas ” and turns it into a standard. She introduces the Sunday-concept “Salinas Sundance”: dancing at the beach from 10am until dawn. She already spotted this trend in Spain and successfully introduces the concept at the Dutch coast. At first the party draws a crowd of 400 but in no-time she draws a crowd of 2.500! Her other parties, “ Salinas on the beach” and “ Salinas on tour” are also big successes and easily draw 5.000 partypeople.
In the meanwhile she has conquered her own space in the line-up of big events like Crazyland, Wasteland, Lunapark, Trance Life and Impulz with her temperamental sound, best described as groovy techno. She often gets bookings abroad and performs from Japan to the United States and from Mexico to Germany .
Picky as she is in her choice of music, she spends a lot of time at searching for the right records and for inspiration for her own productions, that are released on both national and international.
For her own productions she regularly co-operates with other producers like Abel Ramos, Raoul Cremona and Randy Katana”. In 2004 she forms the inspiration for the track “In Silence” that she co-produces with Randy Katana. Upon release the track is immediately selected by radio 538 as their DanceSmash of the week and becomes a big hit. In 2006 she releases the track “Salinas 2006” and the track tops the charts in both Spain and the Netherlands for 3 weeks. Her newest track is named “Locura” and is co-produced with Dutch dj/producer Melvin Warning.
Because of her always friendly and elegant appearance, Miss Melody is certainly a welcome guest behind the decks of many clubs and she can count on a big group of very faithful fans.
