The Remains of a Dream
I see her before me,
I want her for mine,
this lovely, brazen, bronze lass
adance upon the stage,
with slippery copper coin nipples
and silky sleek golden delicious ass.
Tis likely, for a few coin of the
realm of the "Land of Smiles "
that something wonderful
may soon come to pass.
Her flashing white smile
beguiles and intrigues me, and
I drown in the deep brown depths
of the promise in her eyes.
I marvel at her long silken tresses
grown down to her thighs.
My gaze is riveted to the
glorious wonder, the nexus of her
thighs … thighs for sighs, I sigh.
She glances down at me, and smirks
gently, wickedly, haughtily,
yet sweetly I think.
A confusing mixture of expression.
She is knowing my wants and needs.
A face akin to an angel,
no other like it have I seen.
I tear my rapt attention away,
fearful of her beauteous entrapment
of my very heart and soul, and
I close my eyes.
Yet her gleaming image remains,
burnt into my mind's eye, forever
to remain, unfading as the years pass.
With my eyes still shut
I quaff the remaining barley elixir
in my now lust warmed glass,
and looking up, notice, she is gone.
"What the hell?" alac, alas.
She is walking past me, hand in hand,
with another, besotted grinning man.
Another Viagra wasted.
Damn!
I'd forgotten the old Bangkok adage
"Barfine early when you find her,
or forever miss your dream."
I whisper as she passes,
"Dance for me darling, please.
For the rest of my life is but a dream."
For the dream remains,
as do the remains of a dream.
