Vanaf het eerste moment dat ik je zag,
Als klein mannetje in het ziekenhuis,
Wist ik dat wij veel lol zouden hebben.
In het begin vond je mij een beetje eng
En keek je mij aan “wat is die gozer nou raar
Aan ´t doen”. Toen mama een keer een
Uurtje weg moest, werden we echt vriendjes!!

Je gooide alles wat je maar kon pakken op de
Grond en hielp je maar al te graag mee.
Je lachte altijd als je me zag, als je net wakker
Werd en je de hele wereld om je heen aan het
Ontdekken was, zag je mijn gezicht en je
Glimlachte meteen.
Wat ben jij toch een schatje mannetje!!

Zaterdag nog, jij zat op de grond in de gang,
Je keek mij aan, ik stond raar te doen en je bleef
Naar me kijken, zo geïnteresseerd, niets kon
Je afleiden, je was echt mijn vriendje me neefie!!
Als ik aan jou denk, denk ik aan vrolijkheid,
Iedereen kon haast niet wachten tot je weer
Langskwam, mama, papa, opa en oma, grootoma,
Je hebt ons hart gestolen, van ons allemaal!!

Ik had al een kamertje voor je gereserveerd
Hoor mannetje, zodat je altijd bij me kon logeren
Als ik een nieuw huisje heb, nu moet jij maar een
Mooi plekje voor mij reserveren samen met opa!
Laat opa maar zien hoe je een mobiele
Telefoon moet gebruiken.
