't Cannenburgher Klöksien

Ze hangt noe al twee honderd joaren,
In ut koetshuus bie ut kasteel,
Stiet bekend van zuud tut noorden.
In ieder werelddeel.
As ze niet vergeat ut op te dreaien.
Kan ze joaren nog mee goan.
Blif ze eur klank versprijen.
Elk half uur heur iej eur sloan.

REFRIJN:

Slöt ut Cannenburgse klöksien zo zuuver van toon.
Kling klang, kling klang ellek half uur weer.
Klingt ut as een echo, deur de bomen heer.



S'oavends in ut meulenpaadje,

Ut bint Jan en Aartje,
Die heurt ut klöksien sloan.
Geef mien nog een smöksien,
Zeg ut deerntien dan vol vuur.
Want ut Cannenbaargse klöksien,
Dat slöt al twaalf uur.
