LIVE EARTH
In onze drukke, soms hectische doch redelijk goed geordende leventjes waarin we (natuurlijk) heel erg bezig zijn met onszelf vraag ik jullie om een momentje van bezinning. Een moment waarin we nagaan of er ook maar iets is wat we kunnen doen zodat deze aardkloot waarop we deze leventjes leiden niet zo snel achteruit zal gaan zoals hij achteruit zal gaan als je nu niet verder leest... (dwingen geeft vaak het beste resultaat)
Het bezig zijn met 'The Climate Crisis' wat wel erg dramatisch klinkt, lijkt wel een hype te zijn, die, vergeleken met de TE grote zonnebrillen, de Ipods, de Jumpstyle en Second Life een beetje verloren lijkt te gaan omdat het eigenlijk maar een saaie en degelijke hype is.... Daarentegen is het wel de BELANGRIJKSTE hype waaraan iedereen mee zou moeten doen en waarbij niemand als 'meeloper' beschouwd zal worden als ie loopt te pronken dat ie spaarlampen heeft aangeschaft of zegt dat ie altijd de lader van zijn mobieltje uit het stopcontact haalt of dat ie zijn afval scheidt.
Dit lijkt misschien op een cliché, en misschien is het dat ook wel. Maar ja, daar heb ik schijt aan... Het enige wat ik belangrijk vind is dat mijn kinderen en daar de kinderen van, of als ik geen kinderen krijg, de kinderen van mijn familie en vrienden en daar de kinderen van recht hebben op net zo'n mooi geordend leven als ons. Hoe druk of hectisch het ooit moge zijn, geef toe, we hebben het meer dan goed!
