Carnivale Group is an Amsterdam based multi-disciplined organization, known primarily for its successful Carnivale nights in Club AIR. But besides organising several events in the Amsterdam area, Carnivale is an agency and a magazine as well. The Carnivale Agency is focused on managing the Carnivale artists.
History
Carnivale manifested itself for the first time in concreto on April 25th of 2008. Since then, the organization has gradually conquered a place for itself in the hearts and minds of Amsterdam’s night owls, which resulted in a much loved and respected, bi-monthly, Friday night show in Amsterdam. With the help, unconditional support and the trust of Studio 80, Electronation, Club AIR, several very talented artists and a dedicated crowd of fans, Carnivale became a grown-up independent organization.
Feeling
Carnivale is a concept that endeavours to show electronic music in a new light and perspective. The mystique of Carnivale enlightens the musical spirit and leaves a bella figura behind in the mind. Carnivale accomplishes these aims by approaching the boundaries of abstract experience. Carnivale is about a holistic nightlife experience, wherein attention is directed to both the internal- and external facets of experience. Lights, visuals, sounds and objects are all harmoniously tuned in to each other to form the ingredients that make up the unique Carnivale feeling. This special feeling expresses itself in a balanced sensation of intimacy, passion and joy.

Musically wise Carnivale operates in the spectrum between techno and house. By subtly combining the warmth of house with ground-breaking techno grooves, Carnivale offers a unique sound that separates itself from other organisations. This groove is a delight for the ears of both the underground connoisseur as the general public, because the unknown is presented in an accessible and comprehensive manner, without losing its true identity.
