Informatie
ROOM 306 facilitates a place where dj's and live artists can share their love for quality house and techno music.
On a monthly basis you can expect live video streams showing the artists from multiple angles. Listen to the music they want to share with you and watch how they do it. And if you like what you hear? You will join us at one of our events, where the same artists will perform for you live. In a setting where everything is about the music and the visuals to empower that. With people who love music and who love to dance.
ROOM 306 is inspired by Dutch pioneers Tom Dissevelt and Dick Raaijmakers. Two people with a huge influence on electronic music. Back in the fifties and sixties, Philips laboratorium room #306 in Eindhoven was their playground. Tom Dissevelt as composer and Dick Raaijmakers as technical scientist who pushed the boundaries of technology at that time. Together they were responsible for the very first commercial electronic records.
ROOM 306 strives to honour the legacy from back then and combine it with today's possibilities. Our weapons of choice are inspired by the very popular Boiler Room. Quality house music brought to you via live audio and video feeds showing djs in small venues packed with party people. And that is exactly what we are aiming for.
