Mr. Muthafuckin’ eXquire - Lost in Translation (2011):
If you pay attention to smart blog buzz than you might already know who Mr. Muthafuckin’ eXquire is. If not, Lost in Translation is the perfect starting point and a mixtape that is sure to catapult eXquire into the upper echelon of up and coming New York reppin’ rappers.
For those that like to follow co-signs from other artists, eXquire has already been embraced by El-P and Danny Brown, which I hope turns into many more future collaborations like the hidden remix you might find in the download below.

Johnny23 Records celebrates 12 years of existence by releasing 70+ minutes of rare, new and exclusive music hosted by All Elements super DJ J-Ronin.
From its’ inception in 1999, this indy label from Brooklyn remains relevant by consistently discovering edgy, uncompromising lyricists and brilliant new producers from around the world. The label is the very definition of “talent overload”.
On “Riot Renaissance,” veterans like LoDeck and Jakprogresso, are joined by hungry up-and-comers Boxguts, Bloody Monk Consortium, C-Plexx, Mike220, Mag Owl, and Will Taubin. The leader of Johnny23 crew’s California chapter, 2Ugli, represents Chula Vista and blesses the compilation with partner in crime, iLLRoot. Noted MCs and producers from outside the camp, Timbo King, PH (Pumpkinhead), Pacewon, Snowgoons, Al’ Tarba and Blockhead also contribute exclusive cameos. J-Ronin hosts, blends, and seamlessly navigates through an over-abundance of styles, drops, and concepts to extract maximum adrenaline from a keen listener.
If you’re a fan already, your appetite for rioting has already been peaked, but if this is your first encounter with the Johnny23 crew, this release is a good introduction crash course.

Kwam dit tegen op FB, nog nooit van ze gehoord maar wel zieke featurings:
Living Legends is not only title of the upcoming collaboration album of Prosa Nostra Artists Mad Mic vs Tyler Torance and Calibuz Wax, it is the most suitable description for the concept of this highly ambitioned project as well.
Not fewer than 18 legendary hip hop musicians from the U.S. are standing alongside both these guys from Frankfurt, Germany:
DO IT ALL of LORDS OF THE UNDERGROUND, AG of D.I.T.C, THIRSTIN HOWL, SADAT X of BRAND NUBIAN, TRIPLE SEIS, NINE, SMOOTHE DA HUSTLER, KRUMB SNATCHA, ABSOLUTE, GROUP HOME, LORD TARIQ, BLAQ POET of SCREWBALL, TAME ONE of ARTIFACTS, GEECHI SUEDE of CAMP LO, SABAC RED of NON PHIXION, LOUIEVILLE SLUGGAH of O.G.C & EDO.G and MR.CHEEKS of LOST BOYZ.
Na deze filmpjes ben ik ff gaan googlen en kwam ik dit tegen:
It's a dope joint and from 1996. It was a Japan release that came out on a 12" single and on a compilation album from the record label, Next Level Recordings.
I converted and uploaded the album (in 256 quality) for dude over at the DJ Premier blog (djpremierblog.blogspot.com) so I figured I might as well share it here too. Enjoy...
