wat een faggotremix. t Origineel is al helemaal niet zo tralalala. Complete break ook gewoon eruitknippen, lelijke edits, kutkick, dit heeft 'm hoogstens een middagje werk gekost. Samples die er niet bijhoren... niet eens t fatsoen om de originele samples uit The Godfather II te samplen en wat mee te doen. Optyfen.

Same shit, different event. Zelfs hardstyle op deze editie... ik ben er nog nooit geweest maar Dominator is toch een hardcore-only festival?
Ja vind dit ook erg jammer. Maar ja, alles voor de eurootjes he. Kunnen ze gelijk van de poster afhalen dat ze het grootste hardcorefestival zijn ter wereld.
Die raw hardstyle area is wel zo'n beetje de kleinste op het festival hoor. Het is alleen een beetje overbodig als je al zo veel tenten hebt om uit te kiezen. Maargoed, als de timetable het toelaat (en ik uberhaupt ga), dan ga ik wel ff bij Zatox buurten.

Vond het toch wel een hele vette area vorig jaar.
Ik ben zelf eigenlijk wel benieuwd naar de complete line up van decibel
Moet zeggen dat 't weer zo'n typische oppoets-remix. Niet enorm aangepast, maar gewoon net een tikkie anders. De kick van 't origineel was niet echt te toppen en dat merk ik in deze remix dan ook wel, hele 'zachte' kick in vergelijking met 't origineel. Daarentegen heeft deze track wel veel meer sfeer vind ik.
Gewoon een dikke plaat, die D-Passion. Beter is 't snel de 16e.

THV: You have worked alongside some of the biggest hardcore producers in the business like Endymion and Tommyknocker, can we expect to see more of these types of collaborations in the future?
AOF: In a couple of weeks the new AoF & Endymion will be out on Traxtorm. I’m actually busy fixing the sounds, cause we made it one year ago, and now it sounds dull to me. But still, I like it a lot! We actually started 3 collabs, but our main goal now is to focus on our sound. Collaborating is cool, but sometimes it’s a one way talk.
THV: We understand God’s Fury is due out soon on Traxtorm Records, can we expect any other projects coming soon? An artist album perhaps?
AOF: We were working on an album one year ago, but then we stopped cause we didn’t liked the result. Now it seems that we found the right approach to it, so we can start again. Instead of releasing an album with 21 new tracks like we did in the past, this time we will just release Ep, and the album will be a best of the year, with maybe 2 or 3 totally unreleased new tracks. We already have a lot of material, but we don’t want to rush thing and make something bad. And we have 3 other artist names, so we’re always really busy with music!

THV: You have been nominated to produce the 2011 Dominator anthem “The Nirvana of Noise”, how does it feel to have such a huge honour bestowed upon you? Was it a difficult task producing this track?
AOF: When I think at Hardcore the first thing that pop in my mind is Roland909 and Juno2. Human Resource – Dominator was (and still is) the root of our music. Actually I asked Q-dance and Art of Dance to let me doing the anthem, cause i had a simple but effective (to me) idea: why not taking out the dust to the Dominator sound and make a 20years later version? Based on that I came up with a track that will piss off a lot of people. The break is 45 seconds long (that’s all), the melody is not the important part of the track and the arrangment just leads to aggression and energy. Which to me is the goal of an anthem.
THV: Do you prefer to play Live or DJ sets?
AOF: I think djs will disappear in few years. Live is much better. You interact with the people, instead of being a big iPod playing tracks. I hope that the future will lead us to be like any rock band: on the stage you play just your music.
