Biografie
One with a vision into the future of hardcore, Catzeyez is one of Sydney's mainstream masters in the scene today. He was born with a vision impairment and was inspired by the sound of hardcore from the young age of 8 years old. He started mixing hardcore at the age of 18 while running his very own hardcore radio show HARDCORE OVERLOAD 89.3FM - now Australia's longest running Hardcore radio show
Through the running of Hardcore Overload, Catzeyez kicked off his DJ career playing at a variety of clubs and underground events. He played alongside some of the world's best hardcore DJ's such as RUFFNECK, ART OF FIGHTERS, DONE, LENNY DEE & OPHIDIAN. Soon after, Catzeyez landed his first interstate DJ set in Brisbane followed by further sets in Adelaide.
By 2011 Catzeyez was not only a well established DJ in the Australian hardcore scene, he was also starting to produce. With the support of friends and fellow producers and whilst teaching himself, he released his first track. "Stop F**king With My Head" on a compilation CD to launch a new record label in Australia - Night Terror Recordings.
Working hard through 2012 and immersing himself into the producing, Catzeyez started to find the sound he was looking for. His hardcore remix of "Unity" by Dillytek was used as a anthem for BASSQUAKE and his collaboration with fellow Hardcore Overload FM host DJ Spindo was used as the anthem for HARDATTACK. Towards the end of 2012 it was clear Catzeyez had a passion and talent for hardcore. He was officially signed to record label "Scarred digital" with his first official release "Fk it up".
Catzeyez is definitely a force to be reckoned with, taking the Australian Hardcore scene by storm with his unique sound and gift for Hardcore. We are sure to hear more of him in the future.
