Samuel van Dijk is an electronic music producer, sound designer and media artist from the Netherlands releasing deep electronic music as VC-118A, Mohlao, and Multicast Dynamics.

VC-118A is inspired by the concept of aviation and over time evolved into a vehicle for deep and eccentric electro expeditions. Mysterious synths and turbulent drum-machine grooves are fused with glass-breaking bass and other-worldly sound-design. Sharp, sparse, dancefloor-centric electro and techno rhythms being joined by foreboding dub textures and alien electronics. It is this significant developed style that affirms his position as a cutting-edge artist who blurs pre-ordained genre boundaries with an expansive trademark sound.

Mohlao is all about deep and dusty ambient techno pieces with a strong focus on emotion, what resulted in a certain tranquillity that brings an escape from the stresses and strains of everyday life. With a solid rhythm foundation, wisps of melody, shrouded in dark ambient soundscapes, and tiny little details that float by like micro-bacterial debris. Deep electronic grooves and beatless passages that slowly unfold, as if produced in slow motion. Dynamic and atmospheric music, blissfully dubbed out with huge sweeping pads, tweaked filters and aqueous spacious effects. A sound informed by the heritage but no excessive list of name-checking is necessary, simply understood, assumed even.
