Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, better known as "Bad Bunny," is a young urban music singer-songwriter who has risen as the most prominent Latin trap artist of this generation. Already coined as "The King of Trap," Bad Bunny has dominated the world with his music, accruing billions of views in his videos on his official YouTube channel and sitting atop popularity charts on all digital music platforms.

Originally from Puerto Rico, Bunny has been surrounded by music since the moment he was born, igniting his passion for the art from an early age. For Christmas and all his birthdays, Bad Bunny would ask his parents for music CDs: rap, reggaetón, salsa, rock, and of his musical influences, artists like Tego Calderón, Vico C, Marc Anthony, among others.

He never took formal music lessons or studied any instruments, but his passion led him to learn and perfect his talent on his own. He is a singer, composer and creator of his own songs by his own knowledge, and his music emanates a much more special internal rhythm that any musical training could have had.

So much was his love for music that he began creating songs and uploading them to the popular video site, YouTube, and sharing them on social networks, where his fan base began to grow. In mid-2016, Bad Bunny joined Hear This Music, a label created by DJ Luian and Los Mambo Kingz and presented us with the hit "La Ocasión," the early anthem of Latin Trap music.

Bad Bunny has demonstrated his overwhelming power, influence and demand, dominating the U.S., Latin America, the Caribbean and Europe with numerous sold-out concerts and tours. Moreover, he has ignited the stages of several award ceremonies, including the Billboard Latin Music Awards, the Latin American Music Awards, Premios Juventud, and the Latin GRAMMY, among others, award ceremonies to which he has received numerous nominations in various categories.
