PURGE

There is little personal information known about the American duo known as PURGE. The uniquely branded duo exploded onto the scene in September of 2016 and quickly grabbed the attention of listeners for exhibiting technical sounds and a haunting dark bass feeling. The goal for PURGE aims to take a rebellious stance on electronic music by gathering their influences from genre-benders like Noisia and Flume for their creative attitude, which they aim to implement in their own concept. Their sets and mixes have been described as "intensely dynamic" with an extensively eclectic song selection throughout their sets. You can expect to feel every kind of emotion in their sets.

Their debut EP, "Feel Your Love", was released in September of 2016 via Skrillex's imprint and media platform, Nest HQ. Receiving praise and support from Owsla, media outlets, and DJs alike, the EP evoked a haunting initiation to PURGE's genre-bending design being labeled as "dark bass". Following this release, they had a rush of singles that charted on SoundCloud's "Dance & EDM" chart and gained support from San Holo, Krewella, Henry Fong, QUIX, Run The Trap and Trapstyle to name a few.

Nearly a year after their debut release, you can see their most anticipated tracks of the year, "Running Away" on San Holo's "bitbird", "Torn" with Bonnie X Clyde on Insomniac Records, and "Gangsta" on Datsik's imprint "Firepower Records" being featured on thissongissick, Dancing Astronaut, YourEDM, EDMsauce and edmtunes. Most importantly, you can catch their debut festival appearance at the circuitGROUNDs for EDC Orlando in 2017.
