Vrijdag 7 augustus heeft Pllek een feestje waar de sound van het Ibiza uit de jaren '80/'90 centraal staat: Aspirations – Balearic Special met DJ's Phil Mison GB en Tako. Phil Mison en Tako Reyenga nemen je mee met hun favoriete zomertracks en sun-kissed platen uit Ibiza's gouden tijden.
Summer has hit the streets of Amsterdam, the sun is shining and we feel it's the right time for something slightly different. We've been in love with the Balearic sound for quite some time. Therefore we are happy that we've managed to find the right ingredients and share this nice combination of a sun drenched sound with the beautiful venue of PLLEK.
Balearic beat was named for its popularity among European nightclubs and beach rave parties that evolved in the mid 1980's on the Balearic island of Ibiza.
We are blessed to welcome two of our personal favorite DJ's. Phil Mison, also known as Cantoma music & RedlightRecords Amsterdam captain Tako Reyenga.
Phil started his DJ career in 1991 and went on to start a residency at Ibiza’s Cafe Del Mar, sound tracking thousands of sunsets with his vast collection of sun kissed records. Friend and local hero Tako doesn't need much more of an introduction.
