Jeff

Originating from the Netherlands, Jeff Van Opstal started working within the music industry from a very early age. Drawing his inspiration from a vast pool of musical genres with an open mind and an ear for hard-dance, Jeff embarked on his journey by writing lyrics and spinning records with a raw-edged vibe.

Come 2005, Jeff stepped up his game and became an MC at Holland's most popular club of the time. Following an extremely well-received run at the club, and with support from his fans and colleagues, Jeff broke away so that he could have complete freedom as an artist and be able to choose his own pathway to success. It was only a matter of time before MC Jeff began to receive serious acclaim from artists, partygoers, and industry insiders alike. Not content with only performing live, Jeff has been busy in the studio and is now signed to the behemoth of hardcore known as Neophyte Records, with his biggest achievement on the label so far being the dance-floor destroying 'Dirt', by Masters of Ceremony. Alongside his work on Neophyte, MC Jeff's lyrics will be heard breaking barriers on a record label responsible for a new era of hardstyle: Tillt! Records.

MC Jeff's bookings to date cover a wide spectrum of events, ranging from small club nights to the biggest festivals on the hardstyle calendar. When asked which of these is the most memorable, Jeff replied: "I can say it was either Dominator, Decibel, Defqon.1, or Inqontrol." He went on to add, "What I'm most proud of, apart from being a part of something so special, is that I know I'm here, kicking ass, and the party-people love it!"
