Between 2016 and 2019 “1984 Night at the Arcade” aka “Night Arcade” was a synthwave music event, held at the Melkweg venue in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. After the pandemic in 2022, "1984 Night at the Arcade" moved on from the synthwave music genre, live sets and concert format and is nowadays a fulltime club night with dj's as headliners with emphasis on dancing to original 80s italo, disco, boogie, wave, synthpop, house and acid from the past present and future.
