Ik zou me er niet te druk om maken. En als je eenmaal aan het feesten bent, is het zowat alweer vergeten.

On Saturday July 2nd, we will present our new show Sensation ‘Angels and Demons’. To ensure a smooth start and to give you the best experience possible, we advise you to read the last event info which can be found below.


EXTRA PRECAUTIONARY SAFETY MEASURES
The city of Amsterdam has released a statement in relations to Sensation that is scheduled to take place in the Amsterdam ArenA this Saturday. Based on the current information and the judgement of the local authorities, it was decided that the event will continue. In consultation with the Amsterdam ArenA, a number of additional logistic measures will be implemented.

These measures include:

Valid personal IDs are mandatory and will be checked (Passport, driverslicence, ID card)
Frisking of all Sensation visitors
Additional police forces in and around the Amsterdam ArenA
The parking lot P1 Transferium and P Dome will not be accessible during the event
All other parking lots will be accessible for visitors
Visitors are not allowed to bring luggage and/or backpacks to the event, small purses such as envelope and clutch bags are allowed (max. 20 cm x 20 cm)
Due to these extra precautionary measures, the entry procedure will take longer than usual. Therefore, we advise you to be on time and to come by public transport. We thank you in advance for your understanding and patience.

Please note: the Sensation show includes a lot of special effects such as pyro and Co2 which causes loud noises.

VENUE DOORS

The venue doors will open at 21:00 and the show will begin at 22:30. Please make sure to arrive early so that you have enough time to enter the venue and you don’t miss the spectacular opening show! The event will end at 06:00. Your ticket states your dress code color and the entrance gate through which you must enter. To enter the Amsterdam ArenA, the color of your clothes must match the dress code color as stated on your ticket.


MINIMUM AGE
The minimum age to enter the event is 18 years. Even with parental permission or guidance, you will not be granted entry if you are under the age of 18. IDs will be checked.


DRESS CODE – BE PART OF THE NIGHT, DRESS IN BLACK OR WHITE!
The dress code color policy means that both your top and bottom must be in the dress code color as stated on your ticket. T-shirts with small prints are allowed, as are various colored accessories. Shoes may be of any color.

TICKETS
As every (e)-ticket sold must be scanned at the entrance, please make sure to bring a printed version of your ticket with you to the event. Access will only be granted with a valid printed ticket. For example: confirmation emails will not be accepted as an entrance ticket. VISITORS
Elevators are located at the South H entrance. Any visitor with a disability, not only wheelchair users, can use these elevators to go to the field or to level six.


LOCKERS
You can store your valuable belongings and clothing at one of the lockers.


Lockers for General Admission tickets
The E-Lockers are located inside the Amsterdam ArenA and can be found on the North side for black dress code visitors and on the South side for white dress code visitors. The E-lockers remain accessible throughout the entire event and are continuously under surveillance.

Lockers for Deluxe tickets
The E-lockers are available at the event and are located inside the Amsterdam ArenA at the ArenA Deck on level two. The E-lockers remain accessible throughout the entire event and are continuously under surveillance.

SIZE: You can share one locker with two to three friends. You will be able to store a few jackets, sweaters, t-shirts, shoes, etc. Please note that luggage and backpacks are not allowed. The electronic lockers are available for €7 (standard) and €9 (large).

Tip: take a picture of your locker voucher, therefore, you will always remember your locker number and locker PIN code.


TOILETS

There are plenty of toilets located throughout the Amsterdam ArenA. Extra toilets are placed at the ArenA deck on both the North and South side. All toilets can be used free of charge.


PAYMENT SYSTEM

Payments inside of the venue can be done as follows:

At the field bars you will have to pay with your ArenA Card which can be purchased at any of the four ArenA Card desks located on the field. These ArenA cards can be paid for with cash, bank card, or credit card (Mastercard/Visa)
At the bars located on the ArenA deck and within the corridors you can only pay with your bank card or credit card (Mastercard/Visa)
In the Deluxe area you can pay with your bank card or credit card (MasterCard/Visa). If you want to pay with cash, you must first purchase an ArenA Card at the vending machines in the Deluxe area. These Deluxe ArenA Cards can only be used at the Deluxe bars.
The ArenA Cards can be purchased from the vending machines or at the designated ‘ArenA Cards’ desks.


FOOD & DRINKS
Various types of food and drinks are available from one of the many vendors throughout the venue. Even though there are plenty of vendors, you may have to wait in a queue from time to time. 




PHOTO AND VIDEO

To make sure that you are able to capture all of your special moments at Sensation, you may bring your mobile phone(s) and/or pocket digital cameras. Original selfie sticks with a maximum of one meter are allowed. Unless you have been authorized or have been granted official Sensation press accreditation, (semi-) professional cameras and video cameras aren’t allowed and will be seized from you upon entering the venue.


SENSATION MERCHANDISE

A merchandise stand is located outside the Amsterdam ArenA at entrance F. This merchandise stand is open on Saturday from 19:00 until approximately Sunday at 02:00. At this stand, we offer a small number of items in both white and black. A Sensation merchandise collection is available at three stands in the venue located at the ArenA deck on level two next to the South elevator, on the North side of the field, and one stand at the Deluxe area.


SMOKING AREAS

Smoking is only allowed at the designated smoking areas located within the Amsterdam ArenA, which can be found at the ArenA deck for GA ticket holders and Panorama Lounge visitors. For Deluxe ticket holders, the smoking area is situated in the main building at level three. Follow the signs inside the ArenA to locate these areas.


PICKPOCKETING
Please be aware of pickpocketing during the event. To all female visitors, please keep your purse closed at all times as pickpockets will often grab phones and other valuable items when they see an opportunity.


CELEBRATE SAFE
If you have any questions about the use of alcohol or drugs or you would like more information about hearing damage and to purchase earplugs, you are welcome at the Celebrate Safe stand. Our volunteers like to give you advise on these subjects. More information about Celebrate Safe can be found via www.celebratesafe.nl.

If you experience serious health problems caused by the use of alcohol or drugs, please make sure to go straight to one of the First Aid stations. They will help you and will not report you to the authorities.


FREE WATER
Free water is obtainable at the restrooms in the ArenA.
