Hi! Let's start with an easy one. How are you doing, and where are you in the world right now?
I'm doing really well, thank you! At the moment I'm living in The Hague, and soon I'll be heading back to Amsterdam to my little boat, which is home for me. I move around quite a bit, but that freedom really fits who I am.
What's your musical history? How did you first get into music?
I've always been a festival lover. House music has had my heart for as long as I can remember. You would usually find me dancing for hours, completely losing myself in the music, that's where I feel happiest.
In January 2021, during the pandemic, I moved to Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands. That move changed everything. It was there that music slowly became more than a passion and turned into my profession. Since then I've played at many different venues across Europe, with a strong focus on Spain.
Almost is your gig at Love House. What inspired you to join this event?
I attended the previous edition myself, and the atmosphere really stood out. The people, the energy, the intention, it all felt very pure. What I love most is that everyone is truly there for the music. You can feel how much care and attention has gone into creating a vibe that you don't easily find elsewhere.
How would you describe your music style as a DJ?
I'd describe myself as a power house DJ with a lot of emotion. My sets are dynamic, energetic and never boring. I love playing with tension, building things up, and creating unexpected transitions. I want people to feel something every single minute.
What direction are you taking with your music? And what kind of audience do you connect with, age-wise and vibe-wise?
My goal is to grab people from the very first track and take them on a journey they can't let go of. With every new track, I want that feeling to deepen, so you're completely pulled into the story of the set.
My audience is quite diverse in age, but they all share the same mindset: open, emotionally connected to music, and ready to really experience a night rather than just attend it.
How long have you been a DJ, and what can people expect from your set at Love House?
I've been DJing for about four years now, and professionally for three. At Love House, I expect and hope for an intimate, warm and joyful party. Beautiful people, genuine connections and a shared love for music that brings us together.
Aside from Love House, what are your upcoming plans, events and DJ gigs?
Recently I've been spending a lot of time in the studio, working on my own productions. That creative process is very important to me right now. In April, I'll be playing in my hometown Groningen, which feels really special, and I continue to perform regularly in Spain as well.
