Hi ..! Let's start with an easy one. How are you doing? And where are you in the world?
Hi! We're doing fine! Getting ready for some time off after quite a busy 4 months. We're heading off to Asia for three weeks.
What's your musical history ? How did you first get into music?
Josh grew up with music as the younger brother of a club and radio DJ and learned DJ-ing as a teenager playing R&B and Hip-Hop on vinyl (Technics SL1200's) and switched to House Music in the early 90's. Eve always liked all kinds of music, from pop to dance. On Ibiza she got a spark from a lady DJ friend and started to dive into the art of DJ'ing. We noticed that we liked playing together and we decided to join as a DJ couple. This gives us a lot of energy and we like to share this with the crowd.
Almost is your gig at Love House? – what inspired you to join on this event?
We were invited through a friend, who introduced us to the Love House founders: Xander and Dennis. We really liked the concept and visited two editions before getting asked to play on the March 13.
Please describe your music style as a DJ?
As a DJ duo we bring uplifting and energetic Ibiza-inspired music sets. We play spontaneous by reading the crowd. We try to tell the crowd our musical story and give them positive vibes.
What is the direction of your music? What is your audience age wise and vibe-wise?
Most of our music is in the range of Deep House to House, however sometimes we also like to play some tech, progressive or Classic house, as long as it is giving a happy vibe We think music has no age limits, however most of our audience is 30+
You have been a DJ for how many years? Please tell the readers what to expect from this gig at Love House?
As a duo we play for two years. Our audience can expect an energetic 90 minute positive musical house journey. We are really looking forward to playing to you!
Aside from Love House, please tell us about your plans, upcoming events and DJ gigs.
We will perform at HouseBeats.FM – a radio show late February and a guest performance for Caviar de la Nuit. Also we will appear on the next edition of Carpe Diem Beats mid 2026. We have several private bookings both in The Netherlands and Ibiza. Pure Eve will be playing solo on two events in April.
