Biografie
Ivo Adelaar, better known as Vida, was born on 10 September 1994 in Amersfoort (the Netherlands).
Vida started playing piano as a young child for a short time and he then already showed his musicality and good ears. Later at the age of 13 he started listening to house music, followed by producing music on his computer using FL Studio. Together with a friend Vida also starts performing as a DJ on small parties in his hometown Amersfoort.
His producing skills increase and when VIDA is 14 years old some of his productions are noticed by older DJ's and they are enthusiastic about his musical signature and creativity. As a young boy he already had a mature sound. His first serious track "Analyze" is released and many other tracks followed on different Dutch and international labels. In 2010 he was contacted by Dutch Label Sneakerz MUZIK. He released a few tracks and did some remixes for Firebeatz and Sickindividuals.
Because of his age Vida is not allowed yet to perform as a DJ in clubs so he concentrates on producing tracks and remixes. At the end of 2010 he switched from using FL Studio to Logic Pro 9.
In the meantime he gets in contact with popular Dutch DJ's as Hardwell and Nicky Romero. At the moment Nicky Romero gives him a lot supervision and feedback on his productions.
In 2011 Vida's track "Galaxy" got support from Hardwell, Nicky Romero and Armin van Buuren. The second track of the EP, "Onyx", was played by world's #1 DJ David Guetta in his weekly podcast.
At the end of 2011 VIDA reached the 3rd place in the national Slam!FM contest of "DJ Talent of the Year". His tracks got played in SlamFM's show "Clubbin" and he even got the chance to do a few guestmixes.
Recently Vida made a remix for MARCO V's track "Analogital" and in April 2012 VIDA releases his latest track "I Got The Love" (already supported by Chuckie) on UK label Cr2 records.
