Biography
In the summer of 2007, after having played at a beach-party together for the first time in Cannes, France, the Amsterdam-based producers Steve Johnsen and Sietze Rademaker decided to work together as The Disco Accidents.
The Disco Accidents produce music, remix and hit the dance-floors with an eclectic style of house, electro, techno, nu disco with a touch of rock 'n roll. The Disco Accidents gigs are always full of energy, and fun.
Their DJ-sets were received positively by the international party audience. Soon more gigs followed with big parties in Cannes (Cannes Lions Festival), Belgium and back home in The Netherlands. They were often spotted in venues in Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Utrecht (Bitterzoet, Dancing on Leidsesquare, Paradiso, Girls Love DJs, Lowlands, Melkweg, 11, Flexbar, Apenkooi, Club Air). They did support-acts for their friends Gus Da Hoodrat, Jaime Doom and Ajax from the Australian Bang Gang Deejays during their European 'Light Sound Dance' and 'D is for Disco, E is for Dancing' tours and for Soulwax and The Glimmers. They also played at the 5 Million Hyvers (the Dutch Facebook) Party, together with Don Diablo, Erick E and Roog. The Disco Accidents were asked to DJ at the Dutch introduction party of the iPhone. And last but not least, they played at Holland House on a packed Trafalgar Square 2012 in the City of London.
